(The 4 at the time almost felt too soft, and that it was quite a bit more expensive helped seal the deal in favor of the 3). I went down to my local Denver Mattress on a few occasions and spent some time laying on various Purples before I decided on the Premier Hybrid 3. Those are the main problems I was looking to remedy with a new mattress - and from what I read I really thought the Purple would be a good fit for me. I wake up with sore shoulders/hips fairly often. It's not been a bad bed - it's just a little too firm for me and it sleeps kinda hot. So, background is I have the original Casper Mattress (from back when they only made the one). I would say I run hot in general (I'm one of those shorts in the winter time doofs). I'm a 6 foot tall, 165-ish pound side sleeper. I am returning the mattress (I'm nearing the end of my trial period) but have slept on it since late June. Hello - just thought I'd give my Purple review for those who might care to read it.
